| VectorCAST automated software testing tools for safety critical embedded applications |

Vector Software, the leading provider of automated dynamic software test tools for embedded systems, announced today that the VNIIRA-Navigator JSC a branch of the All-Russian Research Institute for Radio Equipment (VNIIRA JSC) will standardize on the VectorCAST product suite of embedded test tools to achieve DO-178B Level B compliance on their latest development project. The VNIIRA-Navigator project will be based on the WindRiver VxWorks 653 platform for DO-178B.
“Our project requires compliance with DO-178B Level B, which will require stringent testing activities. We needed the best suite of dynamic testing tools available on the market” said Vladimir Baburov, Director at VNIIRA-Navigator. “After our evaluation, we concluded that VectorCAST would enable us to achieve our goal in the most efficient manner.”
