Bohemia, New York (November 2011) Raytheon Company presented supplier excellence awards to 39 companies for their exceptional performance in supporting the company’s Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business during 2011 at its annual Supplier Excellence Awards Dinner held on Sept. 26 in Los Angeles, Calif.

The winning suppliers represent less than one percent of SAS’ supply base. They were chosen for meeting demanding standards in the areas of quality and delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and total business and financial health. Evaluations of their performance by the Raytheon buyers and material program managers who deal with them every day were also part of the selection process. This year Data Device Corporation (DDC) is proud to have received a 3-Star Excellence award.

This is the 7th consecutive year that DDC has been recognized by Raytheon as a Star supplier, and the 5th consecutive year receiving a 3-Star Excellence award. DDC is honored to be a long-standing member of Raytheon’s Star program, reflecting our continuous commitment to quality control, process improvement, and unsurpassed customer service, and we thank Raytheon for valuing DDC’s long-standing commitment to quality, reliability, and superior support.

Data Device Corporation (DDC) is the world leader in the design and manufacture of high-reliability data bus, motion control, and solid-state power controller products for aerospace, defense, and industrial automation applications.
