Dayton, OH – November 7, 2005, — Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing has announced the signing of a sales representation agreement with Gillaspy Associates, a leading provider of test, measurement and connectivity solutions for development engineers and IT professionals. The agreement establishes Gillaspy Associates, as the exclusive representative in the Western United States for Curtiss-Wright’s Data Communications group’s LinkXchange physical layer switch products.

“Gillaspy is an ideal sales representative for Curtiss-Wright’s industry-leading physical layer switch solutions,” said Tom Quinly, president, Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing. “Their engineering sales team, depth of network technology and unmatched presence in the Western US sales region combine to make them a great fit for supporting our network switch product customers.”

In addition to providing sales representation for the LinkXchange product line, Gillaspy Associates will also provide entry-level marketing services.

About LinkXchange

The LinkXchange GLX4000 physical layer switch utilizes a chassis and blade architecture that provides an easy and cost-effective way to expand the switch as needs grow. The system features include a large port count in a small space saving form factor, 48 ports per blade and is protocol independent. As the blades all connect to a common backplane, the cross connect functionality extends across any combination of blades and ports.

The LinkXchange physical layer switch products are scalable, versatile, multi-purpose switches that provide protocol transparent, low-latency switching for digital signals. With LinkXchange, network and system configurations can be made quickly and easily through an easy-to-use interface, thus saving time and money. They are available in a variety of form-factors. LinkXchange switches can handle a wide array of protocols including 1/2/4/10G Fibre Channel, 10/100/1000/10G Ethernet, FDDI, SONET/SDH OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, HD, SDI, as well as many non-standard protocols.
