SAN JOSE, Calif., January 29, 2007 – Teja Technologies Inc., the leading supplier of embedded networking and communications software for multi-core processor architectures, today announced that Flexcomm Technology Ltd, an Intel® technology-based solution provider company, will provide additional service and support as a technical partner in the Asia-Pacific market. Having deep expertise in design, architecture, software, hardware, drivers, and applications, Flexcomm will provide in-depth technical support for Teja customers requiring the highest level of specialized service. Under the terms of the agreement, Flexcomm will also provide local language support in China in addition to support and services throughout Asia-Pacific.

“Developers in this market are actively seeking out products such as Teja’s, and we are confident that our engineering team has the broad range of experience to provide industry-leading support to Teja customers,” said LL Cheok, CEO, Flexcomm. “Teja has built their reputation for innovation and we are proud to be working with them as they continue to increase their visibility Asia-Pac.”

Founded in 2004, Flexcomm Technology Ltd. has headquarter, support, sales and research and development facilities in Hong Kong, Penang, and Shenzhen. In just a matter of years, Flexcomm has emerged as a highly regarded solution provider in the Chinese market with vast experience in areas of highly complex networking and data communications systems, digital home, consumer multimedia products and value add networked embedded systems. As an Associate Member of the Intel® Communications Alliance, a community of communications and embedded developers and solution providers, Flexcomm’s product design expertise is based on the Intel® IXP Network Processor architecture.

By using Teja NP, developers can create high performance networking applications for an entire, multiprocessor Intel processor-based system with a common programming model across all processors in the system. The programming model is independent of the underlying hardware, thereby protecting development investments by enabling application reusability across multiple products and multiple generations of processors, and supports the entire range of Intel multicore processors. The systems level approach of the platform allows network OEMs to benefit from greatly reduced development time and costs, while achieving the highest performance.

“We will continue to focus on developing the strongest partner relations, working with the most successful organizations in the developer community in key markets,” said David Stepner, Teja CEO. “This new alliance with Flexcomm is yet another proof point that we are committed to building the Teja brand in Asia-Pac.”

Teja NP is available immediately in China. For more information on Flexcomm, visit www.flexcomm.com.cn.

About Teja NP

Using Teja NP, developers define a complete system’s application logic in a C-based model that is independent of the specific Intel network processor and board configuration. These modular logic components are then assigned to the hardware elements on a specific target, resulting in the automatic generation of optimized production code for the target system. Reusing applications across multiple products or across generations of network processors simply requires reassigning the application logic to the resources of the new target chip or board, whereas alternate methods would typically require a manual code rewrite.

Teja NP also facilitates integration of third-party hardware and software components, such as coprocessors and protocol stacks that complement Intel network processors. The resulting benefits of using Teja NP include accelerated time-to-market, the reduction of engineering risk and, most importantly, reliable, high-performance products that provide OEMs with a first-to-market advantage.

Available applications from Teja include IPv4 and IPv6 forwarding, QoS, NAT, TCP Offload/Termination, ATM and security. Unlike reference code, all of Teja’s foundation applications are fully documented and supported and are designed to be quickly and easily extended and customized using the Teja NP Application Development Environment. Teja applications are delivered pre-configured to run on popular development and production boards, including ADI, Adlink, Intel, Motorola, and Radisys. Teja NP is currently available for the Intel® IXP2000™ family of network processors, as well as the Broadcom® SiByte™ family of multi-core MIPS processors.
