TEMPE, Ariz. – 21 May 2007 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Tai Full Technologies Corporation that will enable wider access to Motorola’s broad range of embedded communications computing products to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Taiwan. The agreement covers the distribution of Motorola’s standards-based blades, modules, shelves, application-ready platforms and communications servers based on industry standards such as AdvancedTCA®, MicroTCATM, CompactPCI and VMEbus.

“The market for communications computing equipment used in a range of industries, including telecommunications and industrial automation, has been expanding rapidly and competition has brought more choice and better services to customers at lower prices,” said Bill Rojas, Research Director for IDC’s Asia/Pacific Communications Research. “Such an agreement will allow equipment manufacturers to take advantage of standards-based common platforms that are designed to help them deliver differentiated new services and applications to the market quickly, while improving costs, availability and performance.”

About Motorola’s Communications Servers

Motorola’s communications servers are open, fully integrated systems that act as a common, carrier-grade platform for a wide range of applications. This common platform concept integrates hardware and software elements to enable equipment manufacturers to focus on adding their application-specific value, thereby reducing the time, cost and risk involved in deploying new revenue-generating applications or migrating existing applications to standards-based technology.
