Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) is offering its easy-to-carry USB arbitrary function generator. It is widely used in various electronic lab environments.

This USB arbitrary function generator, model A0210002, operates over a wide frequency range of 0.1 Hz to 25 MHz. It features high frequency accuracy, high waveform resolution, and high reliability due to the implementation of DDS (Direct Digital Synthesized) technology. It generates regular waveforms such as Sine, Square, Triangle, Saw-tooth, TTL, White Noise, Gaussian Noise, Trapezoid, Exponent and AM and FM signals. Parameters such as amplitude, frequency and offset are programmable. It has one channel for 12-bit arbitrary synchronized waveform output, one 6-bit input channel for counter/frequency measurement and an external trigger input. It also has a built-in 50 MHz frequency counter. This generator can read waveform data files produced by Tektronix oscilloscopes or Tektronix waveform editor software. It is compatible with USB interface and is fully plug and play and requires no external power. The generator runs under multiple Windows OS including Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista and Windows 7. In addition, this generator ships with both SDK and API and can be easily integrated or embedded into other auto-measuring systems.

This arbitrary function generator belongs to GAO’s family of Waveform Generators. This line also includes the featured product Arbitrary Waveform Generator and Frequency Counter which has one channel of 8-bit arbitrary synchronized waveform output, two 8-bit input channels for counter/frequency measurement and external trigger input.
