The FAA required the need for improving sky visibility at the weather and RF tower station in Soldona, Alaska. It required a live video feed of this location via the Internet, from a remote office. This enabled personnel to view that particular area and efficiently instruct all air traffic of the current conditions.
The project called for a solution to interconnect Mobotix M22 IP Cameras, and feed the data over the Internet. Also, it needed to with stand the cold harsh weather without causing any failure. The Korenix JetBox 9310, supplied by Korenix USA, was the solution.
