Salem, NH – July 2010 — Seica Inc, a leading supplier in test and production solutions, will be featuring their latest advanced and emerging technologies in printed circuit board test and assembly solutions, such as:
Valid Integrated Functional Test System
For this year’s Autotestcon show, Seica is highlighting the following benefits the Valid system is bringing to users, especially in Mil/Aero applications:
• Hundreds of LRU/SRU TPS’s for major defense programs
deployed on multiple test systems
• Multiple language capabilities, such as ATLAS, C++,
LASAR, LabView, and tester specific
• Valid system chosen for 3rd level testing in aircraft
fighter program
• Digital channel card to meet the requirements of military
aircraft programs
• Legacy support for: GR179X, GR275X, GR2235, S7XX,
Ca, L2xx, L3xx
• Includes LASAR post processing
The system is also available in a ruggedized mobile version (PTE-100) for avionic field maintenance.
More about Seica’s Valid Line
The Valid VIP (VIVA Integrated Platform) Series is the ultimate integrated functional test solution, capable of providing high-performance analog, digital and mixed-signal testing.
Valid VIP Series is the result of the unmatched SEICA experience in testing complex types of electronic boards and assemblies, combined with the innovations of new DSP and FPGA-driven digital technology.
Powerful, flexible and scalable, the Valid VIP Series can address a wide range of applications, from analog, power analog, high-speed digital, mixed-signal electronic modules for final manufacturing verification or depot maintenance operations.
At the heart of the system is the VIP test backplane. Controlled by the system PC through the high-speed fiber-optic bus, the VIP test backplane hosts channel cards, routing cards and instrumentation. The backplane includes an 8-line analog bus which can be accessed by all measurement cards in a flexible, reconfigurable fashion to suit diverse application requirements.
Multiple test strategies can also be hosted on the system, by adding resources for structural vectorless, analog, cluster or full digital in-circuit tests.
Thanks to its versatile architecture, the Valid VIP Series lets customers focus on test applications rather than on ATE constraints, and provides ample room to meet future requirements.
About Seica in the Military / Defense Sector
Seica’s dedicated attention to the specific product and support requirements of the mil-aero market should be emphasized. Though mil-aero customers deploy the same test techniques used in commercial applications, their requirements at the prototype, production, and field/depot maintenance steps are more rigid and span over a larger spread of technology and longer product life cycles.
The company started out developing in-circuit test equipment for OEM’s in civilian industries. However, it has since refined and developed innovative and visionary solutions to match the requirements of defense and aerospace manufacturing, where stringent standards for product quality, reliability and support are contractual.
Seica has significantly contributed to test development of LRU, SRU, CCAs programs and fixtures for the Tornado, AMX, EFA2000, F/A 18 and other major military programs acquiring a unique experience on a variety of languages (ATLAS, C++, tester specific,).
