“Tekmicro has always been driven by our commitment to customer satisfaction. Our commitment has now been expanded – across all functional areas of the company – to operate in accordance with the quality management and continuous improvement processes required by the ISO 9001:2000 standard,” said Andrew Reddig, president/CTO of Tekmicro. “This is a significant achievement for a company of our size, especially considering the rapid growth rate we are experiencing. This was truly a team effort that could not have been accomplished without exceptional effort from all Tekmicro departments.”

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the source of the ISO 9000 family of quality management standards. ISO is a network of national standards institutes from 148 countries working in partnership with international organizations, governments, industry, business and consumer representatives. The ISO 9000:2000 standard is among ISO’s most widely known standards ever and has become the international reference for quality management requirements in business-to-business dealings.

Tekmicro has demonstrated compliance with this standard through a rigorous audit performed by TÜV America Inc., a business-to-business engineering services firm providing international safety testing and certification services. TÜV America has partnered with more than 3,000 companies throughout the NAFTA region, assuring product and management systems excellence, and acceptance in the global marketplace.
