MAC Panel Company has been awarded a significant contract to support the PAC-3 (Patriot Advanced Capability-3) missile defense system being developed by Lockheed Martin’s Missile and Fire Control Systems, located in Dallas, Texas.

MAC Panel had previously supplied the PAC-2 effort with the Series 75 Mass Interconnect System.

The decision to award this procurement to MAC Panel was made in part by the consistent reliability proven by the Series 75 Mass Interconnect used in the PAC-2 control system.

The VXI based ATE I\O consists of mostly digital signal and very high (current/voltage) power requirements. The 21 slot Interconnect System for the PAC-3 utilizes approximately 90% of the Interface’s capacity.

The combat proven PAC-3 is being incorporated into the Patriot air defense system under contract from the U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense Program. It is being deployed by the United States Military and numerous international allies.

The PAC-3 is a “hit to kill” weapons system designed to intercept and engage incoming tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, or aircraft. It functions as a high velocity interceptor that defeats incoming targets with body to body impact.

MAC Panel Company will supply GPI hardware to integrate a large number of test stations, with a

compliment of interface test adapters or ITA’s.

This contract is part of MAC Panel’s continued partnership with Lockheed Martin in support of JSF,STS driver trainers, COLT and various other government applications.
