LAS VEGAS, NV — January 5, 2011 — 2011 International CES — Green Hills Software, the largest independent vendor of embedded software solutions, today announced its plan to support the recently announced 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processor family. The Green Hills Software offering includes the INTEGRITY® real-time operating system, INTEGRITY Secure Virtualization (ISV) technology, MULTI® integrated development environment (IDE), optimizing C/C++ compilers, the DoubleCheck™ static analyzer and complete JTAG hardware probes. Green Hills Software brings 28 years of experience in the embedded market for its support of a wide range of Intel processors, enabling customers to quickly and cost-effectively create and deploy reliable, secure, high-performance products for in-vehicle infotainment, industrial control, point-of-sale, medical and automation.

INTEGRITY for the 2nd Generation Intel Core Processor Family

The unique and modern technology of the Green Hills INTEGRITY RTOS achieves unprecedented levels of security, safety, and availability for applications in transportation, industrial control, mobile, medical, aerospace, point-of-sale and other industries. The INTEGRITY RTOS is the foundation for the Green Hills Software Platform for Industrial Safety, with certification by TÜV to IEC 61508 at Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL 3), in addition to the EN 50128 SWSIL 4 Railway Safety Certification. The INTEGRITY-178B RTOS is also the first operating system technology certified by NIAP (National Information Assurance Partnership comprised of NSA & NIST) to EAL6+, High Robustness, the highest Common Criteria security level ever achieved for a software product. Only an EAL6+, High Robustness operating system is certified to protect high value assets from sophisticated attackers.
