HighRely has launched the world’s first JumpGap-178 service package aimed at commercial and military avionics developers. HighRely’s JumpGap-178 enables suppliers of COTS avionics software and hardware to maximize leverage of pre-existing avionics including requirements, design, code, and tests. HighRely’s JumpGap-178 provides the pre-packaged services including onsite DO-178B and DO-254 Gap Analysis, Training, Documents, and reverse-engineering to re-use pre-existing artifacts. The Gap Analysis complies with DO-178B and will comply with DO-178C’s future requirements as well. Says Mike Smith, HighRely’s client liaison manager: “Companies with existing products have been stymied by DO-178B and DO-254 certification requirements which imply starting from scratch. With HighRely’s Gap Analysis service, we can usually show that 50-70% of the required DO-178B and DO-254 work has already been done and can be re-used.” Says HighRely’s Ray Madjidi, founder and manager: “Companies can now decrease their avionics certification costs by 40-60%; same for schedule. HighRely’s DO-178B, DO-178C, and DO-254 whitepapers, and DO-178B/DO-254 training provide the foundation for success.” Additional information is available at www.highrely.com, [email protected], or 1.602.443.RELY.
