With dates confirmed for Advanced Automotive Electronics (AAE), The Embedded Masterclass (EMC), the launch of MEDELEC (medical electronics), and Military Aerospace Electronics (MAE) scheduled for Q1 2012, UMR is building on its past successes and expanding its portfolio of events for designers of hi-tech systems and devices.
“We are very pleased with the way in which the business is developing and growing,” said David Williams, UMR’s Director. “We have worked extremely hard to create quality events that are of real value to engineers and vendors alike and this has been key to our success. An important aspect has been to ensure each event has a very clear focus, such as the forthcoming launch MEDELEC in November – the UK’s only event on medical electronics. This ensures we offer the market more choice and thereby attract the right delegates and the right technologies”, he added.
This year sees UMR taking over the running of the Embedded Masterclass, an established annual UK conference and exhibition that introduces the latest tools, software and hardware to engineers working in the development of microprocessor- based technologies. This year, the event will be held at Cambridge on the 5th October and has already attracted key sponsors such as Intel. www.embedded-masterclass.com
“The Embedded Masterclass is shaping up to be a great show,” said Williams. “We have wide industry support for this event and will be offering engineers an impressive schedule of technical presentations and hands-on workshops. Increasingly, the Masterclass is recognised by the embedded systems industry worldwide and has gained a lot of momentum over the years.”
