OpenSystems Media (OSM), LLC, today announced the addition of a new strategic accounts manager, Rebecca Barker, effective immediately. In her role, Barker will focus on establishing and further developing strategic customer relationships. Additionally, she will strategize with key partners on developing innovative approaches to lead generation and marketing campaigns.
OpenSystems’ continues to expand their top-quality sales team continuing efforts to enhance their publications and industry-leading digital content services serving the ever-evolving embedded computing industry. In this new position, Barker will leverage her 15 years of experience in marketing and sales management positions key to further expand OSM’s customer base.

Barker joins OSM from Emerson Network Power, where she was Marketing Manager, Sales responsible for the design, implementation of marketing campaigns on behalf of the worldwide sales and distribution organization. Before that she was Business Development Manager, Strategic Marketing at Motorola Computer Group.
Barker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton, Ohio, and holds a Certificate in Global Telecommunications from the American Graduate School of International Management, Glendale, Arizona.
