MEN Micro forms strategic alliance with ACT/Technico — ACT/Technico named primary distributor for North America

Lago Vista, TX, September 18, 2006 – MEN Micro, Inc., (www.menmicro.com), a leading supplier of industrial real-time and embedded computer products, has formed a strategic alliance with ACT/Technico of Warminster, PA, making that firm the primary distributor for MEN Micro’s products in the U.S. ACT/Technico is a supplier and integrator of real-time and embedded systems.

“Our two companies have worked together for some time now and we believe this alliance will help MEN Micro continue to grow and better support its customers in North America,” said Ernest Godsey, president of MEN Micro, Inc. “We appreciate the professionalism and depth of technical knowledge that ACT/Technico brings to the embedded industrial marketplace. Formalizing this relationship will enable MEN Micro to better leverage ACT/Technico’s expertise so that we both can achieve our goals.”

MEN Micro and ACT/Technico have been technology partners since 2001. ACT/Technico has integrated MEN’s single-board computers and other board-level embedded products into a number of systems for the military/aerospace and embedded industrial computer marketplace.

“Over the last seven or so years, we’ve made a concerted effort to accelerate the development of MEN Micro in the North American market,” said Udo Fuchs, president and CEO of MEN Mikro Elektronik GmbH of Nürnberg, Germany, the parent company of MEN Micro, Inc. “By allying ourselves with ACT/Technico we will be able to take the next step and continue our growth. Its thorough support and technical expertise has earned ACT/Technico a position of great respect in the North American embedded market.”

In recent years, ACT/Technico has integrated MEN Micro’s products into many different types of systems, including industrial real-time process control, telecommunications and communications applications, ruggedized military systems and others. ACT/Technico has designed and integrated system solutions for a wide variety of organizations including NASA, AT&T, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.
