Besides the Basic, Directed, Error and Random tests, the nVS for AMBA 3 AXI interconnects has tests designed to ensure complete assertion coverage of the AXI protocol as defined by the assertion-based AMBA 3 AXI protocol rule sets available from ARM. This will give designers confidence that their AMBA 3 AXI protocol-based designs verified using the nVS will accurately adhere to the AMBA 3 AXI protocol.

Incorporation of Test Suites in the nVS for AMBA 3 AXI protocol-based interconnects would significantly reduce the verification time as developers will be able to achieve their functional coverage goal much sooner. Availability of Test Suites would ensure assertion coverage as defined by the assertion-based AMBA 3 AXI protocol rule sets available from ARM and will lead to higher compatibility and compliance of AMBA 3 AXI protocol-based designs.
