Inphi Corporation Opens First Global Center for Design Innovation in Silicon Valley

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., August 6, 2007  Executing on its commitment to its partners and customers, Inphi® Corporation (www.inphi-corp.com) established the first of its Global Centers for Design Innovation in the heart of the Silicon Valley. The Silicon Valley Design Center, which will be managed by Ali Wehbi, expands the depth of technical resources Inphi applies in designing integrated circuits that deliver the world’s best performance and highest signal integrity for processing data in the most demanding communication and computing systems.

Prior to joining Inphi Corporation, Mr. Wehbi managed the Mobius Microsystems Sunnyvale and Detroit design centers as vice president of design engineering. Additionally, he worked in increasingly responsible senior engineering positions at ARM, Cypress Semiconductor, Integrated Device Technology Advanced Micro Devices, and Applied Micro Circuits Corp. He earned a bachelor of science and a master of science both in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona in Tucson. He was awarded a patent for his work on an extended range current controlled oscillator, which he assigned to IDT.
