Allen, TX. 10/08/2007 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) is pleased to announce that it is now certified by Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren, VA as a provider of Fiber Optic Measurement Quality Jumpers (MQJs) per NAVSEA Drawing 6877804. AFSI’s MQJs have been specifically designed and tested to ensure accurate and reliable measurements with all qualified M28876 and M83522 products.

“With the successful qualification of our MQJ product line, AFSI has moved one step closer to our goal of being a ‘one-stop shop where customers can buy connectors, termini, tools, training – and now MQJs. As the leader in M28876 connector manufacturing and the worlds largest harsh environment fiber optic cable assembly manufacturer, AFSI is well positioned to provide the highest level of expertise and support to our customers, both in the field and in the factory,” reports Mark Roehm, AFSI Market Manager for Supportability.

AFSI is a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of harsh environment fiber optic interconnect solutions. In addition to the patented TFOCA-II® tactical connector series, the company offers connectors built per MIL-PRF-28876, MIL-C-83522, MIL-C-83526, and termini built per MIL-PRF-29504. Many other custom designs are available to meet every harsh environment interconnect need.
