Kichloo Appointed to Lead Avnet Electronics Marketing Global Business Migration Team

PHOENIX— August 16, 2011 — Avnet Electronics Marketing, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today announced the appointment of Ravi Kichloo to lead the global Business Migration Team. In this critical role, Kichloo will assist Avnet’s growing number of customers seeking cross-regional support for design- and manufacturing-based activities. Kichloo is a 28-year veteran of the electronics industry, spending the past 15 years at Avnet. Kichloo adds this area of responsibility to his existing role as senior vice president of global semiconductor business development, where he manages worldwide semiconductor manufacturer relationships for Avnet. Kichloo reports to Harley Feldberg, president of Avnet Electronics Marketing.
