The A220 appliance combines high-performance storage and superior thermal and kinetic management design, to provide application providers, OEMs and systems integrators, with rugged storage, that maintains data integrity and availability in demanding environments.
The A220 appliance provides high-density storage with a maximum configuration of 20 SAS, SATA, or solid state drives in a 2U enclosure. The A220 also incorporates redundant AC or DC power supplies, and hot swappable fans and disk drives that ensure high serviceability. Optimizing space, weight, and power, the A220 reduces rack/floor space and power consumption, which leads to a significant reduction in the total cost of ownership (TCO).
