The series, which accepts a 90-264VAC full range AC input, features overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protections. The output voltage is factory preset at 5V, 6V, 9V, 12V, 15V, or 24V to meet customer requirements. The standard output connector is a barrel plug, but to accommodate specific needs, many other desired connector options can be used as well. The customer has a choice of four types of interchangeable plugs, including US, EU, UK, or Australian, which come with the adapter main body. The adapter measures approximately 3.08 x 2.04 x 1.36 inches.

The leakage current is 100 µA maximum @ 264 VAC, 60 Hz on this double insulated Class II power adapter series. Other important features are its approvals to IEC60601-1, UL60601-1, EN60601-1 safety standards as well as its compliance with RoHS, CE, EN60601-1-2 EMI standards including EN55011/FCC/VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN61000-3-2, EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-5, EN61000-4-11. The series is rated for operating at 0°C-40°C ambient temperature. The units, which comply with CEC efficiency level IV regulation, consume very low standby power, typically less than 0.3W and have an efficiency of 76.5% to 80% minimum at 115VAC or 230 VAC. The MTBF is 300,000 hours at full load at 25°C ambient temperature per MIL-HDBK-217F standards.

The TWM15 series is competitively priced at US$9.90 in OEM quantity. Lead time for production is 8-10 weeks ARO.
