ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 21 — Performance Technologies (Nasdaq: PTIX), a leading developer of communication platforms and systems, announced that its executive management team and board of directors will preside over the April 21st NASDAQ closing bell. This coincides with the company’s celebration of ten years on the NASDAQ listing and 25 years of incorporation. The bell will be rung by CEO Michael Skarzynski and the company’s chairman and founder, John Slusser.

Mr. Skarzynski was unanimously selected by Performance Technologies’ Board of Directors to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer in November 2005.
