CHANDLER, AZ, August 9, 2011– Today Stellamar announced that it has delivered its highly anticipated All Digital ADC IP to SEAKR Engineering of Centennial, CO. Stellamar has been working with SEAKR over the last few months to deliver the All Digital ADC solution for SEAKR’s On Board Processor Program.
Stellamar has completed Digital ADC implementations for both ASIC and FPGA flows, highlighting Stellamar’s unique ability to deliver analog capability in purely digital processes.
“We are very happy to be adding SEAKR to the Stellamar family. Stellamar has been able to meet their unique needs in a very short time frame,” says Allan Chin CEO of Stellamar. “SEAKR engineers have been incredibly easy to work with, which greatly helps when tight deadlines are involved. We look forward to working with SEAKR and building this relationship into the future.”
SEAKR selected the Digital ADC IP based on the unique ability to deliver the following benefits for their unique space application needs:
• A customized solution in a fraction of the time
• Drastically lower power
• Reduced board space
• Reduced points of failure by cutting the need for external ADCs
• License flexibility across multiple devices and platforms
• High quality support team
About the All Digital ADC
The All Digital ADC solution from Stellamar is a family of ADC IP, which utilizes only digital library cells to provide analog to digital functionality without complex analog blocks. The IP can be implemented in purely digital processes such as FPGAs or digital ASICs, making them suitable for a wide range of applications including high volume consumer, industrial and aerospace applications with radiation requirements. Stellamar is happy to be partners with Actel/Microsemi and Xilinx in the FPGA market.
