Omaha, NE, Jan 8, 2008 – AIM-USA LLC and Precision Fibre Channel (PFC) LLC announced today that their Articles of Merger have been finalized. Both companies will be combined under AIM-USA. Bill Fleissner, current President of AIM-USA, will continue as President of the combined company. The new company’s board of directors will consist of members of AIM-USA and Precision Fibre Channel. The combined company will benefit from a highly experienced engineering team from both companies with extensive industry knowledge in both Fibre Channel technology and Avionics products. The combination creates a Fibre Channel provider with a stronger platform for future innovation within the Aerospace and Commercial Storage Area Network industries. The technology that PFC owns can be applied to AIM-USAs aerospace applications to engineer an expanding array of new Avionics and Weapons Interface products. The merger enables the combined company to better compete in the rapidly evolving Avionics and Weapon Systems Databus marketplace. “The recent buyout of our foreign minority owners/partners in AIM-USA allowed for this merger,” said Fleissner. “Now with 100% U.S. ownership by employees, AIM-USA is able to combine the already tightly coupled PFC relationship, and further improve our combined efficiencies for customer value. We are excited to be able to offer an expanded product family with consistent architectures.

“With the development of Avionics Bus (FPGA based) interface products, we can now solve more embedded and classified applications, in addition to continuing the fine line of Test and Simulation equipment previously offered,” he continued. “A new, stronger AIM-USA product line is now available to solve all North American Avionics Bus applications, while continuing to provide high level Fibre Channel Analyzer interfaces to the Commercial Storage Area Network industry.”
