SEATTLE, WA May 7, 2009 – Birdstep Technology Inc. Raima Division (OSE: BIRD), which offers state-of-the-art embedded database technologies, today announced the launch of a new licensing program called Raima Database Manager Embedded one_App Licensing. This new licensing program is designed to provide first time Raima customers an economical way to utilize the power and proven embedded database technology of RDM Embedded.

“We recognized that the state of the economy has forced companies developing embedded systems to look even harder at the development costs of their projects. This is why we decided to offer a low cost alternative embedded database licensing program to those developers looking for an embedded commercial database solution to solve data management problems within their application, ” says Steinar Sande CEO Birdstep Technology Raima Division.

The one_App Licensing program provides developers with:

– RDM Embedded 9.1 Source Code SDK

– Royalty free runtimes
