Cranston, RI — Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), the manufacturer of hundreds of quality custom fiber optic data network cables, has announced the production of VersaLink Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) Cables, featuring Versatile Link (VersaLink) connectors. These VersaLink connectors provide ready-made solutions for rapid installations for any industrial or commercial application utilizing the Avago Technologies Versatile Link transceivers.

These cables can be used in applications such as Gaming Terminal Networks, Medical Instruments, Digitized Videos to name just a few and are compatible with Avago Versatile Link family of connectors. ESL supplies Versa-Link cables in standard and customer lengths available with simplex or duplex UL-rated fiber optic cable sheathed in a black polyethylene jacket featuring either latching or non-latching connectors. Connector terminations are crimped and epoxied for maximum retention.

Versalink plastic fiber optic cables are used with ESLs Fiber/RS485 Converters (Model 4127, 4129) and Fiber/RS232 Converters (Model 4137, 4139 ).
