Montreal, Canada, November 2, 2011 — Matrox Graphics today announced that it will be collaborating with Mitsubishi Electric, showcasing a high-performance, multi-display KVM extension solution and a Full HD collaborative video wall at I/ITSEC 2011, the world’s largest modelling, simulation, and training conference. The new Matrox Avio KVM extender will be extending uncompressed high-resolution digital video on a TripleHead2Go-powered, three-display station, while two Matrox Mura MPX™ video wall controller boards—housed within a low-profile Trenton TVC3400 shelfmount system—will power six 50″ Mitsubishi projection cubes on an expansive video wall platform.

-Matrox Avio KVM extenders support one dual-link DVI or two single-link DVI displays, keyboard, mouse, and USB devices at distances of up to 300 meters (984 feet) and 2,000 meters (6,561 feet) over a single fiber-optic cable in Multimode and Single-Mode, respectively. Avio’s high-bandwidth, fiber-optic transmission results in exceptional graphics performance and smooth HD video playback without any dropped frames.

-Matrox Mura MPX single-slot, four input/four output video wall controller boards are based on PCI Express x16 Gen 2 technology that leverage 64 Gbit/sec duplex data transfer for flawless display of Full HD inputs across Full HD outputs. A video wall on a board, a single Mura is capable of driving presentation platforms in corporate boardrooms and conference rooms, while multiple Mura boards can be combined to build high-density, scalable video walls for command and process control centers.

-Matrox TripleHead2Go external multi-display adapters connect to the video output of your notebook or desktop computer and use the system’s existing GPU to provide high-quality, uncompressed graphics and video across three monitors. TripleHead2Go is ideal for training environments seeking an immersive simulation experience.
