Just four years after shipping its first DDR2 component, Inphi has shipped PLLs and Registers into all workstations, servers, storage and telecommunication applications. A report from Gartner Research released in early September 2008 indicated that total server shipments around the world reached 2.3 million units in Q2 2008, up by 12.2 percent compared with the same period last year. Inphi’s comprehensive family of memory interface analog solutions supports servers using DDR2 RDIMMs and upcoming DDR3 memory interface server systems beginning early in 2009.
