Phase Matrix, Inc. (PMI) has joined VXI Technology Inc., together with National Instruments, in a joint demonstration of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) VXI-based Synthetic Instrument (SI) measurement technology. The SI measurement system technology will be demonstrated as part of a world-wide VXI seminar tour which focuses on VXI technologies for test system implementers. This demonstration will depict various SI measurement applications as well as provide each attendee background information on SI technology, architectures, and contemporary applications. The SI system demonstrated will employ PMI’s Microwave Downconverter & Local Oscillator technology, VXI Technology’s Analog to Digital conversion technology, and National Instrument’s LabVIEW Signal Processing software capabilities.
