IQS of Marlboro, Massachusetts, a leading provider of thermal management, regulatory compliance and engineering design services for the electronics industry, is pleased to announce its acquisition by Degree Controls, Inc. (known as DegreeC) of Milford, New Hampshire, a designer and manufacturer of thermal management solutions for demanding applications including telecommunications, computer, medical equipment and other commercial electronic applications.

Charlie Nasser, President of IQS says, “We are extremely pleased and excited to join the DegreeC family. Our access to greater resources will allow us to grow considerably while continuing to provide customers with the continued independent engineering value and superior service that customers expect from IQS.” Charlie will continue on as Vice President and General Manager.

IQS will become a division of DegreeC and retain its employees and facilities in Marlboro, MA. IQS has built a reputation as a leader in a wide range of engineering management services, including thermal design and modeling, computer-aided engineering, and reliability, compliance, safety and thermal testing. IQS is A2LA accredited to ISO-17025 and is a Verizon certified Independent Test Lab for telecommunications products.

Headquartered in Milford, NH and founded in 1996, DegreeC is a private ISO-9001 registered company. Over the past ten years, DegreeC has become a leading provider of thermal and airflow solutions for challenging telecommunications and medical applications. DegreeC is now applying its chassis-level thermal expertise to mission-critical room-level

spaces, starting with data centers and clean rooms. In addition to its USA locations, DegreeC has other facilities in India, China, and Japan and, with the acquisition of IQS, employs approximately 100 people.
