The AP-I9 is a Rugged Portable Computer built out of an aluminum alloy case and is designed to operate in harsh environments. The ATX motherboard comes with 2 x ISA with 1 x Shareable w/ PCI and 4 x PCI slots. It supports a Core 2 Duo Processor and features a 17″ 1280 x 1024 resolution LCD Panel. It has a black chassis that includes 2 x 2.5″ and 1 x Slim Optical Drive Bays; a multi drive bay design which provides for higher efficiency and performance depending on what it is used for and provides detachable water-resistant 104/105-keys keyboard with touch-pad and a total of 4 x PCI slots and 2 x ISA slots, 1 x shareable w/ PCI. These slots specify a computer bus for attaching peripheral devices to a computer motherboard and can take either an integrated circuit fitted onto the motherboard itself, making these computers more powerful workstations. Not only do these slots provide power, but it also provides for higher performance, expandability, and portable capability. Even when confined to computing, the lunchbox portable can do anything a desktop can do and deliver far more than a laptop. Default Configuration includes ATX motherboard w/ ISA, 1GB 800MHz DDR2 memory, 500GB Serial ATA Hard Drive, and 400W ATX Power Supply. Our rugged Portable Computers are built in with LCD Panels that range from 14″ to 20″ in size. These Rugged Portable Computers can accommodate full-size expansion slots which vary from ISA, PCI, PCI-X, and PCI-Express expansion cards. These portable computers offer high performance in a rugged lunchbox style form factor that can be upgraded for many uses in the industrial field, or field applications. State-of-the-art performance is still the main advantage the lunchbox has over the laptop and that’s because it can utilize standard desktop parts like motherboards, CPUs, RAM cards, and hard drives. Our product line configurations are illustrated on this web site. However, most of the commercial and industrial computers are custom built to your exact requirements. Contact us via e-mail or telephone to discover how we can give you the equipment you need for your specific needs. Hurry and get yours today from Ajax Systems Corp!
