Chelmsford, MA – MAY 13, 2011 TEK Microsystems, Incorporated, the leading supplier of VME and VXS-based signal acquisition, generation and FPGA-based processing products, today announced that Chris Casey has joined the Company as vice president of engineering and operations. Mr. Casey reports directly to president/CTO Andrew Reddig. He will lead the Company’s engineering efforts, (including new product development), operations, (including production and purchasing), and quality assurance.

Mr. Casey comes to Tekmicro after 13 years of engineering leadership roles at iRobot, during which time the company grew from 25 employees to over 600. He holds an SBEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Mr. Casey currently resides in Lexington, Massachusetts.
