The CAN bus I/O interface provides two independent channels, isolated from system logic and from each other. Each channel supports CAN specification 2.0B, and has the capability to transmit, receive and perform message filtering on extended and standard messages.

CAN High Speed transceivers are used for the CAN bus I/O interface. The I/O line configuration is configured by on-board solder pads for maximum reliability in a high-vibration environment. In addition, the TPMC310 meets the requirements to operate in temperature range from -40° to +85°C.

Basic CAN software drivers available for VxWorks, LynxOS, LiNUX, QNX, and Windows.

In order to support long term programs, all TEWS modules have a 5 year warranty.
