Nallatech is IBM’s only Industry Solutions Reseller (ISR) partner specializing in FPGA solutions. Nallatech has extensive experience integrating and testing FPGA accelerator cards for IBM xSeries, BladeCenter and iDataPlex platforms.

The Nallatech PCIe-385N and PCIe-287N FPGA accelerator cards have been engineered to meet the demanding performance requirements of a number of applications including network filtering, analytics, encryption and image processing. These accelerators directly couple FPGAs to network and storage interfaces supporting a range of protocols including 1GbE, 10GbE, OTN and Fibre Channel. Each FPGA utilizes multiple independent banks of high-bandwidth memory providing local random access and deep storage.

”In order to catalyse and de-risk the deployment and operation of heterogeneous platforms featuring FPGA accelerators, we have continued our policy of formally qualifying our products on the latest IBM platforms,” said Craig Petrie, business development manager at Nallatech. “We ran extensive tests on the IBM PureFlex x240 Compute Node and associated PCIe Expansion Node populated with multiple FPGA cards. We were thrilled with the results and the fact that IBM’s design accommodates accelerator cards with various sizes, power and cooling requirements.”

Nallatech is now shipping PCIe accelerator cards featuring the latest generation of 28nm FPGAs. Customers can purchase these products pre-integrated by Nallatech in a variety of IBM platforms. Please contact your local Nallatech representative for further information.
