Precision Devices, Inc. (PDI) (www.pdixtal.com), a member of the Avrio Technology Group, will be exhibiting at DSEI (www.dsei.co.uk), where it will show its comprehensive range of clock oscillators and temperature controlled crystal oscillators (TCXOs) for space and military applications. The products on show will include PDI’s CR101/U (www.pdixtal.com/productbin/cr101u), its latest Qualified Product List (QPL) quartz crystal to be certified to MIL-PRF-3098.

DSEI is the world’s largest fully integrated defence and security exhibition. It runs from 10th to 13th September 2013 at ExCeL, London, UK. PDI will be exhibiting at stand N3-685.

The CR101/U is a hermetically sealed quartz crystal designed for the most demanding applications. It is available in standard or custom frequencies between 7MHz and 20MHz, and is provided in a 10.67mm x 6.73mm through-hole package. The CR101/U has a frequency tolerance of only ±50ppm, and operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +105°C.

As well as the CR101/U, PDI will be exhibiting its range of clock oscillators and TCXOs at DSEI. PDI designs and manufactures quartz crystal clock oscillators in both standard and custom frequencies, with through-hole and surface-mount SMD packaging available. Its TCXOs ensure a precise frequency under demanding circumstances, and provide ultra-low phase noise, low jitter and high vibration tolerances.

“PDI has a long history of working with customers in the space, military and defence sectors,” said Tom Sokol, Senior Vice President of Global Sales for PDI. “Our proven track record, and broad range of qualified parts, makes us a trusted supplier for the most demanding of applications.”

The CR101/U is available now from PDI, and from distribution and representative partners around the world. PDI provides a fast turnaround for prototype samples, and has mass production capabilities to meet the demands of the largest customers.
