ELK POINT, S.D. — Thermo Bond Buildings, LLC, a leading provider of Custom Lightweight Equipment Enclosures for the Telecom, Government, Fiber and Power Generation Industries, today announced that they have acquired the Precast Concrete Assets of Mobile/Modular Express II.

“The purchase of Mobile/Modular Express II Precast Concrete structure business, based in Elkhart, IN further increases Thermo Bond Buildings’ share in the Equipment Enclosure market and broadens our product line to add a concrete offering to our existing lightweight, cabinet enclosures and metal building offering. The combination of the concrete shelter product line with our existing lightweight enclosures will provide our clients additional options and allow us to meet the building requirements in any state or region,” said Steve Kistner, CEO of Thermo Bond Buildings, LLC. “This strategic acquisition is a part of our aggressive growth plans for Thermo Bond Buildings.”

Thermo Bond Buildings will use Modular Express existing facilities in Elkhart, IN to manufacture the Precast Concrete Equipment Enclosures and continue to build Lightweight Enclosures and Cabinets in Elk Point, SD for its customers. “The integration of both companies will take place over the next few months. Our customers will continue to receive the same high quality Equipment Shelters and Cabinets, which they have come to expect,” stated Steve Kistner, CEO of Thermo Bond Buildings.

Mobile/Modular Express Precast Concrete Shelters will now be produced as a new product line in the Thermo Bond Buildings equipment shelter line.
