AUSTIN, TX – 4DSP today announced the release of a new PCI Express® product featuring the Xilinx® Kintex®-7 FPGA. The PC722 is a high-performance commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) card that features advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) capabilities. It is designed for a variety of applications, including Software Defined Radio and RADAR/SONAR. The PC722 is an excellent choice for applications that require large-band signal digitization or generation through the use of accelerated frequency-domain algorithms.

“The Kintex-7 device has proven to be a highly successful FPGA that meets key customer requirements for delivering optimal price-performance at the lowest power consumption,” said Raj Seelam, Director of Solutions Marketing at Xilinx. “4DSP’s delivery of this capability in a PCIe form factor offers a combination of development and field-ready solutions for both the defense and industrial markets,” he added.

“Working closely with our customers for the past 10 years, 4DSP has recognized embedded industry trends. This allows us to bring high-performance integrated solutions to market, enabling rapid prototyping and manufacturing,” said Pierrick Vulliez, 4DSP CTO. The PC722 marks a major product offering for desktop-to-deployment applications in both the industrial and defense markets.
