STREIT Group, the world’s leading privately owned manufacturer of armored vehicles, has reached another important milestone with the delivery of its 2,500th Spartan model. This will add to STREIT Group’s global deployment of more than 17,000 vehicles, which go to some of the most hostile environments in the world.
The Spartan Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) is available in a variety of configurations, supporting a range of military, counter-terrorism and police operations, and is designed to cope with extremely difficult off-road conditions.
Completed on 8th July at STREIT’s Canadian manufacturing plant, Spartan unit 2,500 was shipped to the company’s HQ in Dubai two days later. Successful sales of Spartan and other innovative armored vehicles have generated rapid growth for STREIT Group over the last 10 years.

The group’s manufacturing division, STREIT Manufacturing Inc, has an impressive history in Canada. Set up in 1992 by CEO and founder, Guerman Goutorov, it began as a 2,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, expanding to 35,000 sq ft by 2000. Moving forward STREIT Group has finalised designs to expand Production and Operations in Canada with a 75,000 sq ft expanded facility to meet future production needs by 2015.

The size and efficient operation of our 12 production facilities around the globe allows us not only to meet tight deadlines but to produce vehicles at cost-effective prices.”
