Beijing The independent embedded computer provider LinkedHope™ launched its new VPX payload single board computer, named VP62106, a Local-design, Local-manufacturing product. It’s a modular design and carries Intel’s third-generation i7 / i5 / i3 dual-core or 4-core embedded processors, 5-7 years life cycle. VP62106 has excellent performance of per watt and strong capability of data exchange and bus expansion to meet a range of industrial applications, including: communications, intelligence analysis, command & control, radar / sonar, medical imaging, audio & video surveillance and other fields.

VP62106 supports up to 4-core Intel i7 processor 3615QE, its powerful processing capability is qualified for high throughput vector and floating point operations.VP62106 also supports Intel Turbo (automatic overclocking) technology, CPU maximum operating frequency is up to 3.3GHz, so users do not need to increase the cost or complexity of the system configuration to meet the demand for peak system computing capacity.

VP62106 provides 4 PCI express (PCIe) x4 links for VPX Data Plane communication, and 4 Gigabit Ethernet for VPX Control Plane communication. The rich data interchange options enable potential customers a much easier integration path for box level or system level solution designs.

With up to 16GB ECC memory, up to 64GB onboard SLC flash storage, and rugged conduction cooling design, VP62106 ensures high reliability that makes it best fit for critical mission areas.

Integrated with Intel® HD4000 graphic controller, VP62106 supports Multi-head display output, including VGA, DVI, DP and HDMI. Maximum output resolution is designed as 2048×1536. In case higher graphic processing powers are requested, VP62106 uses AMD E4690 or E6760 GPU as a replacement.

Besides VP62106 provides 4HP / 5HP two versions to suit different backplane slot pitch.

The most outstanding advantage of VP62106 is its modular design, whenever and whatever I/O feature set change request is submitted by a customer, LinkecHope™ is able to deliver working samples of a customized VP62106 in 4-6 weeks!

LinkecHope™ developed VP62106 Board-Support-Package (BSP) for VxWorks 5.5/6.8 operating system, as expands its OS support list: Windows®, Linux and QNX.

Other feature sets of VP62106 include, 4 serial ports, 6-channel USB, two SATA, etc.
