Featuring Radisys’ industry-leading Evolved Packet Core and eNodeB software, the LSF-02 Rugged, Tactical LTE Network can turn your vehicles or personnel into mobile, swarming-capable cell towers in areas where broadband infrastructure is nonfunctional or absent. Contained in a rugged, environmentally sealed package that weighs less than 20lbs, it is ideal for military and first-responder applications.
It supports up to 16 active users with broadband data connectivity and N-way multimedia conferencing for smartphones, tablets, and more. It has a 1km typical range depending on terrain and supports swarming, whereby multiple units operating within range of one another will “link up” to form a larger network.
The LSF-02 is also available as a customizeable compute/communications platform, capable of supporting custom software and functionality should the customer prefer a different software package. It utilizes a COM Express-based architecture, which provides even more flexibility to meet different performance and power envelopes.
