Ottawa, Ontario – August 18, 2005 – Tundra Semiconductor Corporation (TSX:TUN), the leader in System Interconnect, today announced a new distribution agreement with Future Electronics. Future will promote, supply and support Tundra products throughout North and South America, expanding product access and support options for customers in the region. Building on relationships established in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, this agreement now extends the partnership to provide seamless global customer support, a key factor for success in the evolving electronics industry.

The partnership blends Tundra’s industry-leading System Interconnect portfolio with Future’s regional strength, technical resources and portfolio of complementary product lines, such as that from Freescale Semiconductor. Tundra’s portfolio of host bridges for PowerPC® are the industry’s leading companion chips for Freescale Semiconductor’s high performance PowerPC processors, so customers can now benefit from the ability to source Tundra products as part of comprehensive system solutions supported by Future and their extensive portfolio of relationships.

“We are confident of the potential surrounding this expanded partnership with Tundra,” said Gerry Duggan, President and COO of Future Electronics, “Our broad base of customers, including those in high-growth markets using RapidIO® and PCI, will benefit from Future Electronics’ strong engineering alignment and Tundra’s industry-leading System Interconnect products.” He added, “With Tundra’s successful new portfolios of host bridges for PowerPC and RapidIO switch products, portfolios that span across virtually all market segments, we have found that Tundra is a great fit for our global customer base.”

“Tundra is continually evaluating ways to better serve its customers as well as to meet its business growth objectives, by reaching out to new customers,” said Joe Connelly, Vice President, Sales of Tundra. “With the extension of the relationship with Future to provide support around the globe, we have teamed with a strong partner to ensure continued growth of our System Interconnect business across a wide customer base.”
