4DSP\'s FMC121 and FMC123 FMC cards for high channel count, high channel count applications such as beamforming radar or MIMO SDR systems.

4DSP\’s FMC121 and FMC123 FMC cards for high channel count, high channel count applications such as beamforming radar or MIMO SDR systems.

4DSP expands their high performance FMC (VITA 57.1) board portfolio with the addition of the FMC121 and FMC123. The FMC121 provides two 16-bit A/D channels up to 1Gsps and two 16-bit D/A channels up to 1.4 Gsps data rate with a 2.8 GSPS update rate. The FMC123 provides users with four A/D channels up to 1Gsps at 16-bits all in the compact FMC form factor. Users can achieve multi-channel synchronization with external clock and trigger input. Both cards interface to an FPGA through a high-pin count FMC connector utilizing industry standard high speed JESD204B signaling. When paired with the latest FPGA carrier cards such as the 4DSP PC821 customers can develop innovative solutions with state-of-the-art FPGA technology on an industry standard platform. The FMC121 and FMC123 are accompanied by a fully featured board support package including open source VHDL cores and C APIs as well as a 4DSP JESD204B interface core for high speed serial communication with the FMC121 and FMC123.

Both cards are mechanically and electrically compliant with the FMC standard (ANSI/VITA 57.1) enabling customers to use a COTS platform approach to systems design. By building systems with components that comply with industry standards, engineers can build a modular system with the ability to easily scale from the lab to the field while maintaining the same architecture. Additionally, a system built with a COTS platform approach can be upgraded modularly when new technology becomes available. This helps organizations deploy the most advanced technology without having to re-architect the system from the ground up.

With over a decade of FPGA based system design experience, 4DSP can help navigate the complexity of system configuration and board selection. Visit www.4dsp.com for additional product information or email [email protected] to speak with a technical representative.
