Toronto, Canada – GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com), released its highly accurate optical fiber identifier (GAO-6X), a small and handy instrument specially developed for use in the construction and maintenance of fiber optic communication and optical CATV systems. The ruggedly built fiber identifier is used to identify multiple signal frequencies, display the intensity of optical signals and show the direction of optical transmission.

By means of low insertion loss testing technology, GAO’s practical fiber optic identifier accurately identifies optical signals in fibers with service running and avoids undo pressure on the optic fibers. This compact instrument identifies optical signals at wavelength ranging from 800 to 1700nm. It provides low power indication and works continuously for about eight hours on a full charge.

For more information about this GAO-6X optical fiber identifier, please visit www.GAOFiberOptics.com or contact [email protected].
