Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID’s (www.GAORFID.com) UHF CF RFID Card (GAO227001) provides for long-range read/write in a PCMCIA card format. The interrogator can be employed to minimize human intervention while achieving extremely reliable performance of real time data collection in identification, tracking, tracing, and localization of assets or people.
This interrogator CF card uses UHF radio frequency technology with an advanced anti-collision algorithm to accurately transmit and receive information to and from literally thousands of RFID tags. It is shipped with software for application development under Windows CE/9x/NT/ 2000/XP and Linux, and can be conveniently plugged into a laptop, handheld or mobile computer. The built-in software also enables it to process data and update firmware from the PCMCIA or serial interface.
GAO’s UHF RFID Interrogator PC Card presents the following features:
1. Adjustable output power, providing a long read/write range up to 100m (300feet) or up to 6m (20feet), depending on the tags.
2. High reading speeds of 100-tags/second with high reliability
3. 2,000 tags can be identified simultaneously.
4. The drivers for different operating systems are flexible and hardware independent.
5. Its PCMCIA interface facilitates an easy operation with existing handheld or mobile computers.
6. The serial interface allows for serial communications with other devices.
