This reader incorporates a built in standard USB cable for connection to any standard USB port for data transmission and power supply. It conveniently operates as a plug and play device.
This active UHF RFID reader, model 214014, works in conjunction with GAORFID’s active tags and allows users to choose to monitor many RFID tags or only one specific tag. The reader’s gain can be adjusted from high to low dynamically via software. In stand-alone mode, the RSSI (received signal strength indication) is set dynamically via software to control the read range of the reader. The RFID reader reads tags at a maximum distance of up to 8m. This active reader also supports data uploading in real time or data buffering for later retrieval.
