This new IDE has been enhanced with GNU C/C++ cross-compilers and toolchain, a graphical debugger, an instruction set simulator, and a JTAG target debug probe. This complete tools package can be used as is, or further enhanced with any of the many available Eclipse plug-ins for even greater functionality. The IDE also includes kernel-aware debugger support for Express Logic’s ThreadX RTOS, but it can be used for development using another RTOS, or no RTOS at all. Attendees will leave with basic knowledge of this new option for them to consider for embedded development.
