This high performance and reliable transceiver is widely used to help engineers and technicians to meet challenges encountered in a diverse network of topologies.

Compliant with the IEEE 802.3z standard, and possessing 1000BASE-SX hot-swappable function, the NETGEAR compatible transceiver can add fiber connectivity for NETGEAR switches such as the FSM750S, FSM726S and FSM726. It operates on ordinary multimode fiber (MMF) with optic link spans up to 1815ft long.
