Pixus Technologies, a provider of embedded computing and enclosure solutions, has announced new card guides designed for OpenVPX systems. The card guides facilitate the unique offset spacing of the open standard architecture.
The new Pixus OpenVPX card guides come in front card slot and rear transition module versions. The polycarbonate card guides have optional ESD and ground clips. Combined in use with Pixus’ threaded inserts, the guide rails allow the plugging of both 4HP and 5HP wide OpenVPX boards. Customized versions are available including different materials (aluminum), keyable, or other features.
Pixus provides the OpenVPX card guides, rails, and threaded inserts as a kit for subrack enclosure sets or as part of the chassis system assembly. The company also offers air-cooled and conduction-cooled enclosure platforms, backplanes, and components for OpenVPX systems.
