The PCIe to 3U VPX riser is a product that enables a user to connect a 3U VPX module to a standard industry PC, using up to 16 independent lanes.

The transmit and receive signals (16lanes) are driven and conditioned by TI redriver chips.

Adjustment can be made to equalization and deemphasis.

The chip automatically detects and adapts to Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3 data rates.

As PCIe clock source there are two possibilities: Clock from PC-card host system or an on-board clock.
