Voter registration for voting for ANSI recognition of the following standard for the stabilized maintenance process is now open.

Title: ANSI/VITA 51.1–2008(R2013), Reliability Prediction MIL-HDBKHDBK HDBK-217 Subsidiary Specification

Abstract: This specification provides standard defaults and methods to adjust the models in MIL-HDBK-217F Notice 2. This is not a revision of MIL-HDBK-217F Notice 2 but a standardization of the inputs to the MIL-HDBK-217F Notice 2 calculations to give more consistent results.

If you think the standard in question needs a revision, please indicate that need and be prepared to sponsor it and provide a proposal.

This ballot is open to both VITA members and non-members alike. You must register if you wish to participate in the ballots. Non-members should contact VITA for login credentials.

The roster will be vetted to ensure it meets balance, lack of dominance and openness rules. Following which a formal ballot will be sent to the registrants for voting.

Please register ONLY if you intend to vote.
